Werdegang:

An architect by training, Maren Krätchmar joined DynaMo in 2019 as an associated researcher. Besides her degree in architecture (Dipl.-Ing.) from Leibnitz University Hannover she holds a master in technology and ressource management (M.Sc.) from the Technical University of Applied Sciences (TH) Cologne . She has several years of professional experience as an architect and until recently worked as research fellow ath thev Institute for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics at TH Cologne. In her PhD project, Maren works on the transformation processes in German lignite mining areas, asking for the role of civil society actors and local governance processes. In January 2020 Maren was awarded a PhD fellowship at the ‚Transformation Cluster‘ of the Heinrich-Boell-Foundation.
